St. Mary's Hospital at Amsterdam recently honored over 150 of its volunteers at the annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon held April 22 at the Raindancer Restaurant. Assemblyman George Amedore, R-Rotterdam, was the guest speaker at this year's celebration.
Each year, the luncheon is held during National Volunteer Week and celebrates the anniversaries of the volunteers who have given at least five years of service to the hospital and its programs. Volunteers who received service awards this year:
* 20 years of service Beatrice Pasicznyk, Ann Sherman and Rita Traider.
* 15 years of service Evelyn Bianchi, Eileen Show and Pauline Sainato.
* 10 years of service Anne Keiley, Eileen LaBate and Flora Onorato.
* Five years of service Regina Cassetta, Janine Monforte and Phyllis Pacifico.
